Motel Cancellation Policy:

Cancellations are not free. Since we are an 8 room motel, last minute cancellations can impact us greatly. Therefore our cancellation policy is firm.

Cancellations with 11 days notice or more will be charged $25.

Cancellations within 10 days of arrival and more than 48 hrs before arrival will be charged for 50% of reservation.

Cancellations within 48 hours of arrival date will be charged in full.

Maplewood House bookings are final. Since this is a one of a kind accommodation, booking the house means we’ve missed the opportunity to take other bookings. There will be no refunds for cancelling this accommodation. Dogs allowed at a fee of $100/stay. Guests must pickup after pet on property.

Lakewood House bookings are final. Since this is a one of a kind accommodation, booking the house means we’ve missed the opportunity to take other bookings. There will be no refunds for cancelling this accommodation. No pets allowed.

Guests with Minors

Guests of the Starlite Motel are expected to maintain strict supervision of minors in their party. By agreeing to stay at the Starlite Motel, guests agree to this policy and therefore release and discharge Starlite Motel and its owners of any responsibility of injury if minors are not supervised.

 

Pet Policy:

We accept dogs in only 3 of our motel rooms. And we take great care to sanitize those rooms from pet fur, dander and odor. Guests with pets must call to reserve one of these rooms, based on availability. We charge an additional $10/night plus tax per pet. Pet owners must keep pet on leash while on property and must pick-up after their pet and place waste directly into dumpster in parking lot. Damages caused by pet will be charged to credit card on file and may include nightly rentals missed due to damage. Barking dogs causing disturbance will not be tolerated.

Cell Phones:

Cell Phone use is made possible for guests who have Wifi calling set up on their phones. Also We have a Verizon Cell phone booster on the property. Please set up Wifi calling on your device through your provider or be prepared to use Wifi streaming apps to stay in touch.

Free WiFi:

We have free Wifi on the property which works well in all our rooms. If a lapse occurs feel free to contact us at the office for us to reboot and troubleshoot for optimal performance.

Shared Spaces:

Spaces like the Fire-pit, Gazebo and Screened-in room are expected to be shared by guests courteously.

Check-in is 3pm and onward. Late arrivals are not a problem. As long as you have a pre-booked room, you will be able to check-in upon arrival. Instructions are stated in your email confirmation.

Check-out is 11am and before.

COVID-19 PRECAUTIONS:

Due to the Pandemic we have increased our vigilance on sanitizing and safety.

All linens in room are white and bleachable. And extra care in wiping and sanitizing surfaces is being done in between guests. Past guests will notice the following changes:

-There will be no housekeeping during your stay.

-We have discontinued our popular breakfast basket. Guests are encouraged to walk with and prepare their own meals.

-Guests are not required to enter the office to check-in. We have made check-in easy and fast through our walk-up window.
